Lydon Cole's poetry achievement
The Woodhull School is excited to announce the achievement of one of its talented sixth grade students, Lydon Cole. His inspiring poem, "Hopeless," has been selected for publication in the prestigious poetry collection, "Empowered."
Lydon's poetic talent shines as his work stood out among submissions from young writers across the region. The poem, a reflection of Lydon's creativity and perspective, showcases the depth of talent fostered within The Woodhull School on Fire Island.
Mrs. Gabrielle Donovan, Lydon's teacher, recognized his unique voice and submitted the poem on his behalf. Mrs. Donovan's commitment to nurturing her students' creativity has contributed to the success of Woodhull's budding authors.
Woodhull School takes immense pride in Lydon’s achievement and celebrates his accomplishment in being a published poet. This recognition is not only a testament to Lydon's skills but also reflects the school's commitment to providing a supportive and enriching environment for its students.
The entire Woodhull community congratulates Lydon on this outstanding accomplishment and looks forward to witnessing the continued growth of his literary talents.
