Students have a new tool to strengthen math skills. After the break, third and fourth grade students worked on their multiplication skills. They first began a two-minute pattern drill and worked on the distributive property with dry erase boards. The lesson culminated in their working on a new website resource called First in Math.

First in Math is an online mathematics practice tool that infuses a student’s love of gaming to build skills and create high levels of interest. The program gives instant feedback, is quick and easy with just 15 minutes per day to see results, is friendly and motivating and targets all skill ranges.
