Woodhull Elementary School students and staff marked the holiday season with a feast in the newly renovated school lunchroom.

Staff members helped decorate, prepare food and serve students a delicious meal that included turkey, stuffing, potatoes, corn and green beans. Ms. Crawson's primary class donned turkey hats that they created and after the meal performed a song titled "Five Plump Turkeys." In unison, Ms. McNulty's early elementary students read aloud a Thanksgiving story that was written and illustrated by past members of the class who are now in the intermediate class.

Surplus food from the event was donated to a local Fire Island family.
